All M Plus Timber parquet flooring is solid hardwood all the way through. Laminate and engineered flooring often have a limited life and suffer under heavy use. With solid wood flooring you can guarentee high quality look and performance.

Our parquet flooing is constructed with a tongue and groove inter-linking system. Tongue and groove or T&G is a method of fitting similar objects together, edge to edge. The joints allow two flat pieces to be joined strongly together to make a single flat surface. Each piece has a slot (the groove) cut all along one edge, and a thin, deep ridge (the tongue) on the opposite edge. The tongue projects a little less than the groove is deep. Two or more pieces thus fit together closely. The joint is not normally glued, as shrinkage would then pull the tongue off. 

All M Plus timber solid hardwood flooring comes cut 1 inch thick (actual thickness 20mm) and is available in the following sizes, shown in inches: 

1 x 2 x 12 and up

1 x 6 x 36 and up 
1 x 8 x 36 and up
